This release and waiver is
given in the interest of permitting Shared Learning to exist and to serve
homeschoolers. This release and
waiver will enable my fellow homeschoolers and me to feel free to donate
abilities, resources, and efforts to help each other without fear of
liability. Further, this release
frees all organizations providing a facility of all liability, as a meeting
place for these activities.
I intend this release of
liability to be effective whether or not any accident, loss, damage, injury, or
death results from the negligence of any representatives, agents, directors,
officers, or members of any organization providing a facility, as well as Shared
Learning teachers, assistants, coordinators or fellow homeschoolers.
I agree to be solely
responsible for my own safety and the safety of the herein named children, and
to take every precaution to provide for our safety and well-being while
participating in activities sponsored or conducted by Shared Learning
homeschoolers on the premises of any organization providing a facility. I pledge to exercise my parental
responsibility for my children, and to be responsible for the supervision,
actions, and resulting consequences of their actions during the time in which
they are on the premises of any organization providing a facility. In the event of injuries to my children
or myself, I pledge to assume full responsibility for their medical care,
attention, and any resulting medical expenses.
I understand that any
organization providing a facility is not responsible or to be held liable in the
event of damage or injury, whether caused by negligence, (purposeful or
otherwise), acts beyond their control, or due to any other cause.
I understand that I alone am responsible for the
welfare and financial care of my children and myself. In the event of injury, I will not sue
or in any way seek to regain monetary compensation for injuries or damages
sustained by my children or myself.
I will not hold any organization providing a facility, or any of the
leaders liable for any accident that occurs in conjunction with the activities
conducted on the grounds or premises of any organization providing a facility.
I understand and agree that conditions may arise
which may be out of control of the Shared Learning and any organization
providing a facility, and I accept responsibility, and I release and hold
harmless any organization providing a facility, and its representatives, from
all liabilities, responsibilities and claims of any kind whatsoever, which might
emanate from homeschooling Shared Learning activities.
